Custom Archival Photo Albums

Jerry Favorite Photography’s custom, archival photo albums are truly one-of-a-kind treasures.  For over six years we have been designing“Montage Albums” which are a creative collage with multiple images on each page.

We create beautiful albums from the special images captured of your wedding, baby or family. Our goal is to produce amazing albums. From the custom layout design in Photoshop to premium, archival printing and binding on our state-of-the-art equipment, we do it all and do it well. We offer three sizes: over-sized 11x14, standard 8x10 and mini 5x7books. The flush mount, pages are ultra thick and durable. There is no gap between the pages, creating a wonderful seamless spread. We carry a variety of hard bound album covers, from full photographic canvas to picture windows... Leather and metal cover upgrades are also available.

Our industry of photography has made drastic changes away from the darkroom through the years. Now, we can offer a quality service that takes us back to the craftsmanship of the darkroom. Creating albums by hand, one at a time, with the integration of technology and classic book binding techniques, we develop original photo books. These are truly priceless masterpieces.

These are Katie and Kris's album pages from their wonderful wedding last summer at Casa Marina in Jacksonville Beach.

We generally include a spread (two pages) from the happy couple's engagement session.

Jerry & Karen had the pleasure of photography this wedding together, enjoying everything from the getting ready to the ceremony, reception and final goodbye.

Our Favorite Freed Family

Our heartfelt congratulations go out to Crystal and Mike and their beautiful baby girl. We had the pleasure of photographing their newest addition at our home studio recently. Here are some of Karen and Jerry's favorite picks from the photo session.

Romantic Yet Cool

Dyamond and Magdar just radiate their love for each other. Jerry enjoyed photographing the unique engagement session around downtown Jacksonville. Together they captured some great non-traditional photos (along with some classic ones). A little edgy and lots of style!

Simply Beautiful - Studio Bridal Portrait

When our little girl saw these bridal photographs, she asked, "Is she a princess?" Brides are so elegant and happy in their beautiful gowns. A formal studio session can really capture all the details of the dress and the "blushing bride". Bridal photographs make for lovely enlargement prints and are perfect keepsakes for one of the most important moments of a couple's life.

A Hot Photography Project

Jerry recently had the opportunity to photograph a really cool product... that gives off a lot heat! We're talking about beautiful Isokern fireplaces by Earthcore. Though they produce fireplaces and chimneys for homeowners around the world, Earthcore is based locally in Jacksonville. Beyond the obvious beauty and quality seen in these photographs, they are also environmentally friendly, safe, efficient, versatile and yes, even affordable.

Family Beach Photography

Our beautiful North Florida beaches are a classic and timeless setting for family photos. A beach photo session could be a once in a life-time event or an annual tradition to capture the essence of your life. We think of these photographs like little time capsules that are displayed throughout the home and shared with loved ones. As we well know, children grow up so fast! Before you can imagine it, we're looking back and saying, "Remember when....". A visual reminder can touch the soul and brighten any day.

Christina & J.R. Wedding 10-17-09

Always a pleasure to get the opportunity to photograph a wedding together. We especially enjoyed Tina and J.R., the wonderful, happy couple. Last Saturday Christina Lutgen and J.R. Malone were married at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. It was a bit chilly which was unexpected after having crazy 90+ degree weather earlier in the week, but that did not detract from the beautiful ceremony and fun reception. Other than a little wind and a few goose bumps from the bridesmaids who were wearing adorable ice blue dresses, everything was fantastic. These photographs are a combination of our work that showcases their lovely day. - Jerry & Karen

A Year's Worth of Smiles

Now is a perfect time of year to schedule a family portrait session... The weather is starting to cool down (okay, hopefully it will be soon) and the holidays are right around the corner. Pictures of your family are great to use in your greeting cards, gifts and even a 12 month calendar to enjoy all next year (a favorite for grandma and grandpa).

Try getting all the cousins together like we did for this photo shoot at Memorial Park in Riverside. Matching dresses for the girls and simple outfits like khakis and white shirts for the boys really help set the stage. Parks around town with a variety of scenery make a lovely backdrop. The Prime Osborn Convention Center with it's big columns gives a more formal setting. And don't forget our beautiful beaches as an option.

The best time of day for a family portrait is usually right before dusk. The lighting is great and no one is squinting from the bright sunshine. Sunsets can also be spectacular at this time of year.

In addition to the traditional family group shot, think about smaller groupings and individual photographs of each child for a variety of images you're sure to treasure.

Most of all, don't forget to have some FUN...

Residence on the River

Can you say "wow"? The owner of this home personally designed and decorated many of the wonderful elements seen throughout these gorgeous photographs. These images were captured during daylight and dusk times to get a feel for the different architecture and lighting of the house, exterior structures and landscapes. This photo shoot was a pleasure as it's always great to work with talented people that love art as we do.

Business Portrait

Jerry's depth of work never ceases to amaze me. Though we have been primarily focusing on wedding photography, Jerry continues to excel with his commercial photography. His talent for lighting and composition crosses all industries, no matter the subject or place. I just came across a photo shoot that had such diversity of images, all of only one individual. These are a small sampling of Kerry D. Romesburg, President of Jacksonville University, that represents an average, on-location business portrait that you can expect from Jerry Favorite.
